Fishing for a President

Alright, we have just over a month to go before we elect the next President of the USA. I'm a political junkie. I eat this stuff up. I watch Fox News, CNN; I read internet sites and newspapers, listen to talk radio and on and on and on. I absorb it all. I'm familiar with the arguments on both sides of the fence and all points between. I've yet to be swayed one way or the other by any pundit or radical "yell-in-your-face" argument by the most rabid supporters.
But, if you are one of the millions of folks who have yet to make up your mind on who to vote for (I honestly can't say I personally know any of you, but according to the polls you exist), I have a solution for you. It's so simple, so ridiculously obvious. Who would you rather fish a team tournament with, Senator McCain or Senator Obama?
Answer that question and you'll have a clear path to your decision in November.
Which one will give you the straight answers when the pattern you're using is falling apart? Do you prefer the angler (read presidential candidate) who will let you know what he thinks or do you prefer the person who will support what you are doing and analyze the failing pattern after the day is done, when it's too late to make a difference?
Do you want a partner who wants you to keep going no matter what the odds or do like the partner who will try, but if it seems difficult look to others for assistance? Do you want a partner who is loyal and will keep your team plans and patterns to themselves or do you prefer a partner who is always looking for consensus from other anglers to make them feel good that they are making the right decision on the water?
The choice will be yours, but remember, your choice will dictate who you're stuck fishing with for the next four years.
